Continental Carbonic Area Sales Manager is responsible for all aspects of the business in their market. Works cross functionally with Branch and Production to supply dry ice consistently to all customers. We are looking for a High-energy Sales Professional with the ability to sell value who understands that results do not just happen.
Target Salary: $75k base plus commission and auto allowance (OTE $115k )
Territory: Based
out of San Francisco/Sacramento, CA. Overnight travel

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Required to meet and exceed corporate objectives for profitable sales growth, safety/compliance performance, support on A/R management, and customer retention within assigned territory.
Develop and execute sales plans to improve market share and increase existing revenue within assigned sales territory.
Cultivates customer relationships by developing a deep knowledge of customer's business and establishing a consultative relationship.
Partners with internal resources to accomplish growth objectives. Leads clear and consistent communication with internal departments relative to customer successes, opportunities, developments and other customer information
Manages contract lifecycles (price reviews, renewals, etc.)
Supports customer activities, new business acquisition, contract negotiations and customer service requirements.
Maintains opportunities, contact data and PSC's in Salesforce CRM (SFDC)
Keeps current with industry insights, monitors competition by gathering current marketplace data.
Identifies cross-selling opportunities and leads the hand-off to other team members.
Required Qualifications:
Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree preferred
6 years of professional sales experience with demonstrated high performance and proficiency.
Experience in Dry Ice/CO2 products, B2C accounts, protein processing and packaging, and 3PL's
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to speak effectively, present information and respond to questions before groups of customers, clients, managers or employees of organization.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, employees, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry such as fractions, percentages, ratios, volume and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to work in a Matrix environment.

Hands on understanding of industrial gas products, production, distribution applications, and associated equipment.
Working knowledge of Six Sigma and lean manufacturing practices.
Training in Safety and Compliance (OSHA, DOT, EPA, and FDA)
