- Design and develop software applications, scripts/plug-ins, etc based on business requirements, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, identifying root causes and implementing timely fixes.
- Integrate software components and third-party APIs to enhance application functionality.
- Develop and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and actively participate in continuous learning and professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance team productivity.
- Any/all duties related to software development that may be required for project(s)
Required Job Qualifications:- A minimum of 3 years in Software Engineering/Development
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Teams, Outlook, and Planner or with other telework products provided by Zoom, Google, and Skype.
Required Training/Licenses/Certifications:- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 3 years of verifiable experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.
- Certificate/License and working knowledge in Python, JavaScript
- QGIS/ArcMap/ArcPro/ArcGIS/AGOL/etc. (any relevant GIS based software)
Desired Technical Experience:- Fiber optic Network Design experience
- Working knowledge of Java, C
- Other utility Network Design experience
Required Soft Skills- Self-Starter
- Motivated
- Advanced Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
- Ability to work independently and with moderate supervision or as a part of a team.
- Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
Required Travel- 0-5%
