GIS Analyst jobs in New Hampshire

The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst will work as part of a team at a Government site supporting the continued development and maintenance of a real-time, enterprise-scale geospatial database repository system and will support data analysis, visualization, and the maintenance and fidelity of the data in storage.

Responsibilities

• Work with supervision as part of a dynamic team focused on providing actionable geospatial information and products to a variety of customers.
• Manage GIS data on multiple networks
• Digitize new authoritative vector datasets and build new web maps and applications.
• Assist with teaching GIS courses and update course material.

Qualifications

• Complete the STC application through our website, stcnet.com, and answer the screening question regarding citizenship.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography or related field, with 3 – 5 years of experience in GIS concepts and using GIS software. Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of GIS concepts, spatial data, and database structures. Must be able to quickly adapt to new development environments, application platforms, and architectures.
• Experience must include expertise in the use and understanding of: ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, SDE and Oracle geospatial data storage. Experience with two or more of the following is a plus: QGIS, React, Python, Django, SQL, and/or JavaScript.
• Must be able to learn new skills quickly, have excellent oral and written communication skills in English, and work in a team environment.
