    In this position you will:

    • Build strong relationships with a broad base of local government leaders and teams
    • Collaborate with third parties on projects and data integrations
    • Conduct client needs and project discovery
    • Document program information and projects
    • Manage GIS data including creation, updates, and quality control
    • Perform data analysis and create deliverables
    • Provide GIS services to all local government departments
    • Recommend projects that meet client needs
    • Report project progress
    • Train users and provides technical support for solutions

    Qualifications and Skills

    The most important thing MGP seeks in a candidate is their commitment to local government and our core values. The skills listed below will help the GIS Analyst succeed in their position, and MGP will provide skill development time as needed.

    • Basic proficiency with conducting project discovery
    • Intermediate proficiency with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
    • Intermediate proficiency with GIS data structures, databases, and data modelling
    • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft 365 Productivity applications
    • Intermediate proficiency with presenting MGP Solutions
    • Intermediate understanding of local government services, departments, and processes
    • Advanced written and oral communication skills

    Work Environment

    This job is primarily performed at the MGP Office and offers occasional remote work opportunities. Occasional travel to client sites to facilitate meetings, consult, or train users is required.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $61,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
