Furniture Finisher restores and preserves furniture using variety of hand and power tools. Applies knowledge of fabrics and wood furniture to complete projects. Being a Furniture Finisher may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Furniture Finisher is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. We are looking for a custom furniture finisher that has experience in color matching with paints, stains, glazes, varnishes, and lacquer finishes.
Pay is based on experience. Training is available. The position starts as soon as possible. MUST HAVE 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE.
