May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Furniture Finisher is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. We are seeking a skilled Furniture Installer to join our team. As a Furniture Installer, you will be responsible for assembling and installing furniture for residential and commercial clients. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret furniture assembly instructions
- Assemble and install furniture according to specifications
- Ensure furniture is properly aligned, leveled, and secured
- Inspect furniture for any damages or defects
- Assist with moving and rearranging furniture as needed
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Physical stamina to lift heavy furniture (minimum 50 pounds unassisted) and stand for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
