POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Development, the Annual Fundraising Campaign Coordinator will have primary responsibility for ensuring a successful annual fund and related campaigns. This position oversees the day-to-day processes, tasks and activities through the CRM management system, Blackbaud. Implement data-entry policies and procedures to ensure data consistency and quality, and lead efforts to develop fundraising strategies. The Annual Fundraising Campaign Coordinator, is a member of the Development team and works in conjunction with the administrative clerks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborate with the Director of Development in the overall fundraising and strategy.
- Create, implement, and evaluate the organization’s annual fund campaign plan, calendar and budget to include mailings, appeals, reports, and other relevant activities.
- Ensure effective and efficient utilization of and manage donor database functions including data entry, data quality, cash and in-kind donations, production of reports, tax receipts, credit card donations, and recurring gifts.
- Contribute to organizational processes and policy formulation. Document all donor and data processes.
- Create, implement, and evaluate strategies that lead to sound donor cultivation, prospecting, segmenting, acknowledgement, recognition and stewardship.
- Create and implement processes to document in database conversations with all stakeholders as well as appropriate data entry for notes/cultivation activities/volunteer solicitor actions/appeals, etc.
- Oversee all reporting tied to data needed for creating the Development plan as well as for leadership meetings.
- Manage or assist with logistics needed for activities related to annual fund campaigns and/or appeals.
- Participate in any special events (virtual or in person) planning and implementation and other departmental or agency activities as needed.
- Participate in the organization's internal meetings and communications.
- Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as established by your supervisor and/or the Director.
- Attend all the fundraising events, virtual or in person (GR Major Donor Dinners and other Galas).
- Provide guidance to clerks, following established organization standard operating procedures.
- Other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least two years of relevant development experience.
- Proven experience in database entry, analysis, reporting and some project management.
- Proficiency in G-suite
- Preferred proficiency in Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge or similar donor software database.
- Ability to interact with stakeholders in a manner that further promotes affinity for the radio.
- Ability to positively supervise staff.
- Ability to initiate projects, be flexible, and work within a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize appropriately when facing multiple responsibilities and tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral.
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Responsibilities will involve some flexible scheduling and work beyond the regularly scheduled workday, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
