Fundraising Coordinator coordinates operations to execute an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, and capital development initiatives supporting short- and long-term organizational revenue objectives. Supports donor stewardship programs to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors and corporate or governmental partnerships. Being a Fundraising Coordinator plans events and develops communications to increase donor engagement. Uses a donor database and software tools to produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. Additionally, Fundraising Coordinator may participate in the grant writing and proposal process. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Fundraising Coordinator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. This position is for a Fundraising Specialist for a compassion project
We are seeking an experienced Fundraiser to join our team! As a Fundraiser for our organization, you will be handling communications with current donors, creating ways to connect with new and future donors, and helping manage the current fundraising infrastructure. In addition, you will work closely with other members of the fundraising team and other departments to ensure our mission is being met, donor databases are being maintained, and the lines of communication between donors and the organization are open. Ideal candidates will have previous fundraising experience or experience working with a nonprofit organization, strong communication skills, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with other leaders and fundraisers to bring awareness to our organization
- Connect with current and potential donors, representing our organization and mission
- Assist with the creation and implementation of new fundraising efforts or events to generate interest in the mission
- Work closely with the analytics and financial team to ensure fundraising efforts are matching mission needs
- Create or update donor databases
- Previous sales or fundraising experience desired (5-10 years)
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism in written and verbal communication
- Experience with event planning desired
- Experience with CRM and database software
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong problem-solving skills
