Summary:

Responsible for managing lease team member production, work quality, training programs, audit quality, service levels and funding decisions outside of policy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures the achievement of all lease funding objectives including volume, turn time, portfolio performance, legal and procedural compliance.

• Manage lease team member production, work quality and service levels.

• Responsible for maintaining adherence to all Federal and state regulatory issues as well as Truth-In-Lending and Regulation M disclosures.

• Evaluate performance versus established metrics and identify operational deficiencies and implement plans to improve operational effectiveness.

• Accurately and effectively communicates with underwriting and marketing personnel and management.

• Provides leadership, support and motivation to the funding team.

• Reviews exception deals and makes decisions in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Develops, coordinates, and supports training activities and staff development in accordance with SFS policies. Maintains procedural manuals.

• Implements and monitors necessary reports to ensure production and quality goals are achieved.

• Complies with all company policies and procedures.

• Performs other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• This position involves regular access to specified personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth. It is the Lease Funding Manager’s responsibility to safeguard this information.

Additional Responsibilities:

Perform the above-referenced essential duties and responsibilities as well as assist in directing the work of employees assigned to the department by leading and overseeing their day-to-day activities and work schedules and by providing work-related guidance in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures. Although this position shall provide the authority to lead, oversee and direct the day-to-day work of assigned employees and to report work assessments to management, it shall not provide the authority to take the following actions: hire an employee, fire an employee, promote, or demote an employee, discipline an employee in a formal manner, reassign an employee, or alter benefits of an employee. All such decisions shall be made by the responsible senior manager(s) in consultation with the Human Resources Department.

Education and/or Experience: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED. Candidates should have four to five years of auto finance industry experience in a similar position. Captive and/or lease experience required.

Skills: Strong verbal, mathematical, reasoning ability, computer, problem solving, strong lease acumen, written communication, leadership, interpersonal and sound judgement skills.
