We Are Looking to Add a Key Member to Out Funding Team! The Funding Specialist role is primarily responsible for timely auditing and processing of payments to customers and suppliers. Additional tasks may include processing accounts payables or other business expenses. As a Funding Specialist I, you will: Perform various audit tasks to ensure accuracy of: Funding requests Bank information setups and changes Mailing address setups and changes Pull back owed funds, void and reissue payments, and research/process return files. Generate payment vouchers moving funds from various general legers to accommodate advance payments, points and other fees received as a part of new lease transactions. Process batch payments and balance daily transactions through reporting in conjunction with the Cash Applications Team. Manage the vendor master list including suppliers, customers, other 3rd party payment recipients. Perform various Accounts Payable tasks including: Payment of company invoices and expense reports Unclaimed property management Employee reimbursements Understand a variety of new and existing finance programs, develop an expertise of existing systems/technology, and learn new systems as they evolve or are developed. Answer basic Accounts Payable questions from internal team members and/or external customers with limited assistance. Proactively participate in strategic projects as assigned. Understand and adhere to company policies and controls. Provide outstanding GreatAmerica Experience for external as well as internal customers. ***Scheduled hours are from 9:00 to 6:00, some overtime may be required based on the needs of the business, or at month-end*** To be successful in this role you will need: Education Minimum Two-year degree Experience One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Accounts payable experience preferred Computer Skills Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, Infolease, Salesforce, Vision, EOT System, OnBase, Epicor and Info-zone Other Requirements Must be able to perform in a high intensity, customer focused environment, showing accountability in working both independently and as part of a team Must display ability to perform tasks that are repetitive in nature with accuracy, maintaining an awareness that even seemingly minor tasks carry a great deal of importance to our business Must possess excellent verbal communication skills and be detail oriented and reliable Sharing rewards is an integral part of our culture.
