    Responsibilities:

    • Staff Supervision: Supervise and lead the front desk team, including Front Desk Agents and Receptionists. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of customer service.
    • Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and special events. Handle employee shift assignments, time-off requests, and covering shifts.
    • Guest Relations: Resolve escalated guest issues or complaints that Front Desk Agents may not be able to handle. Ensure guest satisfaction and maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
    • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for front desk staff on hotel policies, procedures, and customer service standards. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve performance.
    • Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping, maintenance, and sales, to coordinate activities and address operational needs.
    • Supervision of Administrative Tasks: Oversee administrative tasks, including reservation management, check-in/check-out procedures, and handling financial transactions. Ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
    • Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of guest services, ensuring that front desk staff follows established procedures and maintains a high standard of professionalism.
    • Technology Management: Oversee the use of the PMS for reservations, guest information, and other front desk functions. Troubleshoot any technical issues and ensure staff is proficient in using these tools.
    • Reporting: Prepare reports on front desk performance, including occupancy rates, guest satisfaction scores, and other relevant metrics. Provide regular updates to upper management.
    • Problem Solving: Handle complex or challenging situations that may arise at the front desk, making decisions that align with the hotel's policies and objectives.

    Qualifications

    • Prior experience as a Hotel Front Desk Supervisor, or similar role preferred.
    • Flexible Availability – this department has 24 hr coverage
    • Customer service experience
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
