This position has the overall responsibility of supervising the front desk department.

• Ensure staff is properly trained including service expectations, hotel facilities and services. This also includes property management and reservations systems.
• Monitor staff performance and recommend corrective or disciplinary action, alert management of potentially serious issues.
• Respond appropriately to guest complaints, make appropriate service recovery gestures in accordance with established guidelines.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments and front office manager.
• Register guests and process all payments according to established procedures, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location.
• You will answer multi-system phones, may routinely book guest reservations for individuals and/or groups either by phone or from within the hotel. Process cancellations, revisions and information updates on changes.

Qualifications

Requirements include at least one year of experience as a front desk agent, reservationist, night auditor or relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must have previous reservations/front desk experience
• Must have excellent customer service/hospitality skills
• Must have excellent communication skills both verbal/written
• Must have computer/typing and phone skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule (weekends, holidays, am/pm shifts

The hourly pay range for this role is $19-$50. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Washington State. This is the lowest to highest pay scale we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
