Front Desk Manager jobs in Michigan

We are seeking a Front Desk Manager to oversee our front desk personnel. This is a very important position at our firm, and the ideal candidate for this job will have extensive experience in management as well as strong analytical and people skills. We're looking for an individual who is capable of running all aspects of the front desk in a professional manner, always acting with integrity and respect, and who will be a leader on our team by offering innovative solutions to the challenges we face.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and participates in the selection, hiring and training of front desk personnel.
• Creates weekly schedules for front desk management and guest service agents.
• Verifies that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated to housekeeping and maintenance staff.
• Resolves guest problems calmly and efficiently.
• Works with sales department to prepare and update group information.
• Receives information from the previous shift manager and passes on pertinent details to the oncoming manager.
• Ensure logging and delivery of all messages, packages, and mail in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensures all staff follows all proper cash handling and credit procedures.
• Ensure implementation of all hotel policies and procedures.
• Provide crisis management in a time of guest need.
• Greet first time guests and provide them with a verbal tour of the facilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
