We are hiring immediately for a well-groomed, friendly hotel front desk representative to be responsible for welcoming guests, managing online and telephonic bookings, and verifying guests' payment methods during check-in. You should have a pleasant and professional disposition with guests and other hotel staff.
Job responsibilities:
- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Ascertain guests lodging and reservation needs when applicable.
- Assist guests in a friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up as necessary.
- Learn to know all essential aspects of our extended stay operations.
- Register guests and manage the rooming chart properly.
- Collect payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers; and makes change for cash customers.
- Verify credit acceptance by reviewing and recording driver’s license number and operating credit card authorization systems.
- Balance cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift.
- Monitors lobby and check-in activity to determine room flow.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Provide pre-arrival support for guests arriving on packages.
- Facilitate correspondence with guests.
- Work collaboratively with any resort associates and resources.
