FRONT DESK CLERK interacts with the customer to ensure that guest check-in, check-out, and billing are carried out efficiently. Answers questions about the facility's policies and services. Being a FRONT DESK CLERK makes advance reservations and handles special requests. Issues invoices and collects room fees. Additionally, FRONT DESK CLERK handles or appropriately escalates customer service issues. Performs administrative duties such as answering phones, cleaning work space, and assisting managers and supervisors as needed. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The FRONT DESK CLERK works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome tenants in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and out tenants, ensuring accuracy of information
- Provide information about hotel facilities
- Handle tenants inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Maintain accurate records of tenants interactions and transactions
- Handle cash transactions accurately and securely
- Looking for night shift 11pm to 7am 5 days a week
- We are a SRO Hotel. We do Monthly and Weekly only and open 24 hours.
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus
- Knowledge of hotel operations and front desk procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve guest issues effectively
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in tenants information and transactions
- Professional phone etiquette with the ability to handle calls professionally and efficiently
