Fraud Prevention Manager manages a team of analysts responsible for the detection, prevention, and mitigation of fraudulent transactions. Develops cross-functional initiatives to proactively detect and prevent fraud from occurring. Being a Fraud Prevention Manager approves and implements recommendations for process and procedure improvements. Reviews and implements best practices in the fraud prevention industry. Additionally, Fraud Prevention Manager ensures compliance with all relevant anti-fraud regulations and standards. Creates reports outlining trends, risks, and mitigation strategies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Fraud Prevention Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Working closely with Region 3 Prevention Program Director, provide education by disseminating information about target issues to communities; provide evidence based prevention programming, develop and support community and state initiatives related to the target topics and populations.

Qualification Requirements:
Education and/or Experience: Bachelors degree, prior computer/PC experience using computerized Medical Records and scheduling systems is preferred, but not required. Prevention Specialist certification is preferred but not initially required though ability to gain certification is required. Incumbent must also possess basic math skills. Must pass Criminal Investigation Background and DHHR background check as well as post offer drug screen.
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Mobility and ability to sit for long periods of time use a standard computer keyboard, bend, reach and lifts up to 25 pounds are required in this position. Ability to drive to worksites and trainings, carry supplies from car to presentation site are required. Ability to speak in front of small and large audiences anywhere from 10 min to two hours at a time.
