Additionally, Fraud Prevention Manager ensures compliance with all relevant anti-fraud regulations and standards. Creates reports outlining trends, risks, and mitigation strategies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Fraud Prevention Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager.     Job Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Infection Prevention Supervisor to join our team. As an Infection Prevention Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of infection prevention and control programs within our organization. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to proper protocols and guidelines.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify infection risks and propose strategies for prevention.
    • Train and educate staff on infection prevention best practices and ensure compliance with regulations and protocols.
    • Collaborate with healthcare providers to investigate outbreaks and implement containment measures.
    • Monitor and analyze infection data to identify trends and implement appropriate interventions.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in infection prevention and control.
    • Participate in the development of infection prevention budgets and strategic planning.
    • Provide guidance and support to staff in implementing infection prevention measures.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and facilitate continuous process improvement.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare departments to promote a culture of infection prevention and control.
    • Maintain documentation related to infection prevention, surveillance, and reporting.
    • Develop and deliver infection prevention training programs for new hires and ongoing staff development.
    • Collaborate with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
    • Conduct regular inspections and respond to infection-related concerns in a timely manner.
    • Serve as a resource for staff regarding infection prevention measures and proper utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE).

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
    • Certification in Infection Control (CIC) strongly preferred.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in infection prevention and control.
    • Solid understanding of infectious diseases, microbiology, and epidemiology.
    • Knowledge of current infection prevention guidelines, regulations, and best practices.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Excellent ability to analyze data and make evidence-based decisions.
    • Proficient in computer applications and infection surveillance software.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
    • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
    • Demonstrated ability to deliver effective training programs.
    • Knowledge of healthcare accreditation and regulatory standards.
    • Willingness to stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in infection prevention.
