    Key Requirements

    • Must be able to obtain an SCI clearance
    • Must be able to pass a US Government physical exam
    • Must have (or be able to obtain) a valid driver's license
    • Some travel may may be required
    • Selectee will be required to complete a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450 annually
    • Selectee will be required to complete form FD-887, Request for Access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
    • Successful completion of FLETC

    Major Duties

    • Serves to protect government property and national security information from unauthorized access, acts of sabotage, espionage, damage and destruction.
    • Serves as the first line supervisor for FBI Police Force operations within FBI facilitates.
    • Evaluates work performance of subordinates as well as provide advice, counsel and instruction.
    • Reviews, accepts, amends, or rejects work of subordinates.
    • Serves as the rating official on performance evaluation of subordinates.
    • Ensures the compliance with appropriate Bureau policies as it pertains to other officers.

    GS-11: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 grade level. SE is defined as follows:

    • Experience that provides knowledge of a body of basic laws and regulations, in compliance with policies and procedures by regularly practicing law enforcement operations, techniques and responsibility for maintaining order and protecting life and property.
    • Experience that may have been gained in working on a police force by performing criminal investigative duties.
    • Experience as a Leader in a Law Enforcement environment as related to Police Officer duties and/or functions by exercising considerable discretion and season judgement to investigate situations and conditions involving serious criminal actions.
    • Experience in working dangerous situations that are inherent in providing a variety of law enforcement protective services.
