This position offers a competitive wage of $16.00/hour plus a $1 increase after 90 days, tuition reimbursement, and we offer medical and dental insurance. Our Foundry operates Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm, so they also enjoy having their evenings free!

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE FOUNDRY
In the foundry, your days will vary. You might be providing assisting with patterns and inventory of castings by count and location. Help prepare castings and paperwork for shipments. Assist with monthly metal inventory counts. Some days, you will be help with the melting and pouring of casting by pre-heating oven in sequence, melting, load and unload pre-heate shells, setting up pouring floor for casting pours throughout the day, move full molds and inspect completed shells.Other days, tasks will be finishing castings for shipment which could involve using belt sander/grinders and/or shot blaster to clean and finish castings.
This position will perform tasks related to research and development of new processes. Additionally, you will learn other job roles in the foundry including investment casting processes. Once trained, you will provide backup or additional labor in those roles when needed.
