Job Purpose

The Product Line Manager role encompasses responsibilities involving account, program and operations management. They are responsible for managing all facets of their customer accounts and projects as well as driving the sales, engineering and operations functions. This is a customer facing role, and as such, is key to the success of the business.

• Customer account management - provide excellent customer service
• Customer program management – manage all aspects of development programs
• Operations management – work with operations to achieve committed business outcomes
• Quote and Proposal generation – work with sales and engineering to provide quotes, SOWs, proposals, etc in order capture new business
• New customer onboarding - run new customer kick-off meetings including setting meeting itinerary, and making sure presentations and materials are in place
• Run regular customer meetings for project status review as needed
• Manage customer budgets and project spend
• Work with engineering and sales teams on program scoping and quote generation
• Sales order creation, order fulfillment, revenue recognition within ERP system
• Provide annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue forecasts
• Manage and monitor forecast updates weekly
• Program management – set up project plans, establish and track schedule, deliverables and spend. Identify issues and drive teams to provide creative solutions
• Vendor Management – Procure and schedule 3rd party services as required
• Operations management - WIP starts/changes in manufacturing execution system (MES), ensure timely lot execution through fab, customer order shipment
• Escalate issues and concerns to senior management as appropriate

• Must have strong knowledge of semiconductor processes including but not limited to photo lithography, CMP, wet and dry Etching including DRIE, CVD, PVD, and various Metrology technologies

Work Environment

Work is primarily performed in a temperature-controlled, open cubicle setting. Frequent interruptions and conversational noise can be expected.

Physical Demands

• Constantly in a stationary position, often sitting and/or standing for prolonged periods (8 hours)
• Constantly viewing a computer monitor for prolonged periods (8 hours)

Requirements

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Minimum of 7 years of account and/or program management experience in the semiconductor or a related industry
• 5 years business experience in order management, customer service, sales, accounting, accounts/program management or similar combination of roles
• Demonstrated ability to concurrently manage multiple competing priorities and projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite particularly Excel

Preferred Education and Experience

• MBA
• Knowledge of NetSuite, Oracle PLM and Workstream or other foundry MES system
• Management or supervisory experience
• ITAR program experience
