A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOUNDRY PRODUCTION WORKER
We are currently hiring for our cleaning department. This job covers the final stages of casting manufacturing before shipment to the customer. Cleaning and grinding operators perform duties such as cut-off, belt grinding, fine grinding, and other duties as required. This position involves standing for long periods of time and repetitive bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying of heavy parts. Employees are required to wear company provided PPE. This includes safety boots, safety glasses, ear plugs, and respirators.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous foundry experience is not required, although experience in any heavy manufacturing is preferred. A high school diploma is not required for this position. You must be able to follow directions and show attention to detail.
