• Familiar with ANSI B77 codes.
• Safe climber certified.
• Must be able to demonstrate and perform all work that is part of the Lift Mechanics normal duties.
• Responsible for communication and maintaining a relationship with the Department of Community Affairs.
• Ensure all state mandated compliance reports are completed on time and accurately.
• Maintain record keeping of all state reports and inspections.
• Create budgets and forecast expenses for Lift Maintenance.
• Monitor departmental results and look for ways to improve financial strength.
• Track labor to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
• Responsible for upward communication including, but not limited to, weekly manager’s report, task lists, departmental checklists, and meeting agendas.
• Comply with all standards for team training and weekly safety training.
• Participate in weekly management meetings.
• Plan out and document capital improvement needs for the department.
• Manage capital improvement projects.
• Develop training programs and manuals for departmental team members.
• Communicate with other departments in a timely manner.
• Keep aware of industry developments as they pertain to Lifts and Lift Maintenance.
• Provide regular feedback to the Director of Mountain Operations.
• Work well with Team Members and Guests.
• Contribute to Team effort by performing other tasks as assigned by the Director of Mountain Operations
• Maintain an adequate selection of tools.
• Organize long-term maintenance programs for safety and efficiency.
