Staffworks Group has an immediate opening for a Marine Travel Lift Operator in Warwick, RI

This is a Full-Time position that pays $25-30/hr. based on experience.

The Equipment Operator is responsible for the movement of all vessels located in the facility for haul & launch, designated work, storage, or sales. This position is also required to inspect, repair, and maintain all assigned equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment including but not limited to Bobcat tractor, 15-ton Boom Truck, 35-ton Marine Travel Lifts, and hydraulic trailers

Be able to operate machinery efficiently, effectively and demonstrate safe handling of vessels.

Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment to ensure operational.

Block and stand vessels, and general maintenance as required.

Assist with ground maintenance and ensuring overall marina cleanliness.

Available to work overtime when required.

Technical and Physical Requirements

2-3 years' relevant experience preferred.

Heavy forklift experience and certification required.

Ability to ascend and descend a ladder.

Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Ability to work in confined spaces.

Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Basic boat handling skills preferred.

Must possess a valid drivers' license.
