May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Forester is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Forester performs a variety of complicated tasks. Generally manages exempt and nonexempt employees. Typically reports to the head of a unit/department.
