Timber Products Company has a Procurement Forester position available in the Central Upper Peninsula. This position will be responsible for purchasing hardwood saw and veneer logs and stumpage sales in the Central and Eastern Upper Peninsula.
This position requires a minimum of four years experience in scaling and grading hardwood logs and an Associates or Bachelors degree in forestry. In addition, the individual must have extensive experience in timber cruising, stumpage sales appraisal, logging administration and field forestry practices. Outstanding communication skills and computer literacy are essential. A valid driver's license is required as the position will require extensive travel in a company provided vehicle. Compensation and benefits are commensurate with background and experience.
