Being a Forest and Conservation Worker applies practical knowledge of practices and procedures from two or more specialized fields, such as forestry, soil science and/or agriculture. May require 2-4 years of related work experience. Additionally, Forest and Conservation Worker relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be capable of sorting lumber good from bad to place into stacks at the roundtable according to length, width and thickness. This is actually part of a grading process to prevent bad boards from getting into the good bundles going to our customers.
