    About the Conservation Leadership Development Program (CLDP): The Kupu Conservation Leadership Development Program is an AmeriCorps program, designed to provide members with the skills, experience, network, and mentorship needed to succeed in the field of conservation.

    Members are matched with one of CLDP’s many diverse Host Sites across the Pacific, where they will gain valuable experience in areas such as native plant and wildlife conservation, outreach, forestry, and more!

    Position Overview:

    • Location options: Hawaiʻi Island, Kauaʻi, Maui, Molokaʻi, Oʻahu, Guam, American Samoa, CNMI Saipan and Rota
    • Position options: 40 hours per week for a 6 or 11 month term
    • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
    • Conservation-related education, volunteer, and/or work experience is desired, but not required

    Benefits:

    • Bi-weekly Living Stipend, equivalent to $16.00 per hour
    • $3,447.50 to $6,895.00 AmeriCorps Education Award
