Sales Support Coordinator
Techno-Aide’s Sales Support Coordinator is crucial, administratively-focused role to ensure the smooth functioning of the sales process and supporting the sales team to achieve their targets. This position reports to the Sales Operations Manager with a dotted line of responsibility also to the Sales Manager. The primary duties of a sales support role include:
Customer Communication: Act as a point of contact for Techno-Aide’s top customers (those within our top dealer tiers) when they have questions, need information about products, pricing, lead time updates, and order status. Communicate with customers via phone, email, and other channels to address their needs and resolve any issues they may encounter.
Quotation and Proposal Preparation: Lead in preparing quotations, proposals, and sales contracts for customers. Ensure that pricing and terms are accurate and in line with company policies and profitability targets.
Order Processing: Assist the Customer Service team in the order entry and communication process with all customers. This is a back-up responsibility, not a primary responsibility, but is very necessary to the smooth operations of the revenue side of the business.
Product Label Oversight: Lead the daily efforts to print, sort, and combine the necessary labels to their respective job orders. Upon completion, deliver job orders with labels to the appropriate departments.
ApronHub Support: Develop a working understanding of the ApronHub tracking software to be able to troubleshoot basic customer questions and assist customers who have questions about the software.
Sales Administration: Provide administrative support to the sales team, including maintaining customer records, managing sales documentation, and preparing sales reports and forecasts. Keep track of sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline developments.
Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company's products, features, and benefits. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments to effectively position the company's products and services.
Sales Support Tools and Systems: Utilize sales support tools and systems, such as CRM software, to track customer interactions, manage leads, and streamline sales processes. Ensure that all relevant information is accurately recorded and accessible to the sales team.
Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams to coordinate customer orders, resolve issues, and ensure a seamless customer experience. Provide feedback to relevant departments to improve products, processes, and service delivery.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor and resource for their needs. Follow up with customers after sales transactions to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, systems, and customer service practices. Share ideas for enhancing efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction with the sales team and management.
