Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing educational activities and lesson plans
- Support students in their academic, social, and emotional growth
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction as needed
- Assist with behavior management and promote positive behavior reinforcement
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create a cohesive learning environment
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom or daycare setting
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents
- Assist with daily routines such as mealtime, naptime, and toileting
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times
Skills:
- Strong math skills to assist with educational activities
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Experience working with students in a classroom or daycare setting(preferred)
- Ability to educate and engage students in age-appropriate activities
- Understanding of toddler care, preschool, and literacy education
- Effective communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff members
- Patience and empathy when working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Excellent organization skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle unexpected challenges
