The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for supporting the Maintenance Department in the entire operation of nursing services. The essential duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assist maintenance director in ensuring that all physical aspects of the building are in working order.
• Assist in maintaining the physical plant within the Agency for Healthcare Administration guidelines and regulations.
• Follow departmental standards of safety, and operation/care of maintenance equipment.
• Perform lawn care and maintenance functions in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Perform other duties assigned by the maintenance director.

Educational Requirements: Candidate Must have Basic knowledge of building and equipment maintenance and related areas preferred. The competitive pay range for this position is $18.29 to $22.00. Consideration will be made commensurate with experience.
