ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrated record of successful interpersonal skills working with diverse people and levels of authority.
• Embody the shared values of Hotel Drover.
• Maintain an open line of communication with leadership team.
• Act as a main resource for reservations agents needing assistance technically or with handling guest calls and/or requests.
• Ensure the team is constantly aware of availability states open, on request, closed dates, high demands, etc.
• Respond promptly and thoughtfully to reservation requests and always execute prompt service.
• Fully knowledgeable about guest rooms, rates, promotions, amenities, programs, and services.
• Manage systems set up within the reservations department to ensure accurate handling and monitoring of calls.
• Assist and prepare in groups pre-arrival process and preparing group rooming lists.
• Track all reservations picked up from all online channels such as hotel website, OTA, etc.
• Update no-shows and cancellations on all OTAs.
• Handle guest recovery issues and/or refer comments and complaints to the appropriate leadership team member.
• Always provide a professional image through appearance, dress, and speech.
• Passion for creating an amazing experience for our guests.
• Strong prioritization and organization skills .
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to be flexible.

MUST HAVES:

• Demonstrated record of successful interpersonal skills working with diverse people and levels of authority.
• Multi-task ability in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge and experience with computers and Microsoft programs.
• Must have the ability to work with Birchstreet, Avendra Ibuy, and M3.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
