Foreign Exchange Manager manages trading functions to meet corporate financial goals. Services clients on international business issues by developing forecasts of hedging exposures. To be a Foreign Exchange Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Typical Work Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday

    Monex is looking for a dynamic FX Dealer to join our team.  Monex Dealers are responsible for executing client deals in foreign exchange products.  Dealers liaise directly with financial decision makers of multinational organizations to help them navigate the intricacies of the FX market based on the in-depth knowledge of the client and the client’s fx needs.  Dealers will work very closely with Sales to ensure a long, profitable relationship with the clients.  Dealers must uphold the highest standards of integrity.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensuring clients are dealt with promptly and in accordance with company policies
    • Ensuring adequate knowledge of their client (KYC) to deliver appropriate and suitable products, services and guidance
    • Maintaining good client relationships built on integrity, trust and the client’s best interests
    • Executing trades on behalf of clients
    • Record all client/prospect communication on our CRM system ensuring details are accurate and up to date.
    • Maintaining a knowledge and understanding of the economic climate and subsequent likely impacts upon Monex and its clients
    • Participating in sales and business development activities to attract new clients
    • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and business partners.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Extensive knowledge of currency trading
    • Strong quantitative skills
    • Optimal organizational and analytical skills
    • Keen attention to detail and the ability to spot opportunities that others miss.

    Preferred Experience:

    • A BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field
    • Proven FX Dealing track record
    • Understanding of product and market knowledge including FX spot, forwards, and international payments is a strong plus
    • High Standard of oral and written English is mandatory; fluency in other languages, especially Spanish, is desirable. 

    Travel:

    • 15% travel is required for this position.

    Compensation:

    Salary is commensurate with experience.  The annual salary range is $55,000 to $75,000 plus a competitive commission package. Potential year one earnings of $140,000.
