Foreclosure Specialists will be primarily responsible for assisting the Foreclosure Supervisor with facilitating the daily operational administration of the complete foreclosure process involving 1-4 family residences. Those processes shall include, but not be limited to:
Receipt and handling of the initial foreclosure referral from the client;
Review of all documentation with the referral for completeness;
Referral and assignment of the foreclosure to an approved law firm, including all applicable documentation for commencement of the foreclosure proceeding;
Ongoing communication with the assigned law firms regarding status updates for each foreclosure referral to ensure properly established timelines are being met;
General notations and file administration to ensure that all relevant and applicable information has been comprehensively memorialized, as appropriate;
Compile monthly status reports regarding each foreclosure for management review and delivery to client;
Communication and escalation of any and all matters that do not appear to meet properly established timelines, as necessary;
· Excellent communication skills, including excellent phone etiquette and a demonstrated ability to communicate professionally in verbal and written forms and instant messaging environment with teammates. · Above average computer skills working in proprietary software environment, TEAMS, Microsoft Office, including but not limited to, Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint · Ability to meet hard deadlines and work in fast-paced environment. · Attention to detail is a must and a background with a title closing, title curative resolution, reviewing surveys, reviewing appraisals would be helpful. · Ability to review mortgage documentation and work closely with title agencies, attorneys and various real estate professionsls, as needed
· A background in identifying title curative issues.
Must pass pre-employment screening and undergo government suitability investigation.
2 years of real estate, title, property management and/or foreclosure experience is preferred in similar work environment (government contractor).
