Determines the best metrics to use to provide the most accurate representation of the forecast. Being a Forecast Analyst works with other departments within the organization to determine optimal inventory levels. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Forecast Analyst typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Forecast Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Incumbent prepares workflow charts and diagrams to specify in detail operations to be performed by equipment and computer programs and operations to be performed by personnel in system.
1) Ensure the quality and delivery of application operations supporting the business in accordance with agreed standards
2) Reviews computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
3) Collaborate with internal and external parties in an effort to meet job objectives.
4) Develop competence in writing scripts, packages and functions as needed to support the applications.
5) Respond to requests for configuration changes as directed by Management.
6) Collaborate with Systems Administrator to troubleshoot hardware and OS-level issues on all platforms.
7) Able to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences in written and non-written formats.
8) Work collaboratively in a team environment.
