Forecast Analyst jobs in South Dakota
Forecast Analyst analyzes inventory levels, production speed, and product demand to determine the amount of finished product that will be produced. Determines the best metrics to use to provide the most accurate representation of the forecast. Being a Forecast Analyst works with other departments within the organization to determine optimal inventory levels. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Forecast Analyst typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Forecast Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. POSITION SUMMARY:
Analysts are responsible for maintaining all functions of inventory control in their assigned areas. An analyst is also responsible for maintaining the highest possible turns and in-stock position possible.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- An analyst will ensure the accuracy of the stock status and anticipated needs of merchandise to be advertised
- Administrative Accuracy
- Ensure accuracy on vendor order guides, purchase orders, letters, and plant inventory counts.
- Replenishment
- Assist the Buyer in replenishment of merchandise efficiently
- Responsibility
- In addition to the functions outlined above, the Buyer or General Plant Manager may assign additional job duties throughout the year. Analysts are also responsible for passing on useful information when they notice problems developing in other areas.
