Key responsibilities

- Administrate custom ERP system

- Troubleshoot SQL Servers, debug, and script in Shell

- Supports end users and other partner groups, providing ongoing training and assistance for a particular application, system or process

- Build and evaluate programming changes prior to implementation for each systems development phase. Record test cases and expected outcomes. Ensure that requirements are met. May create simple tests or a defined subset of a larger system test. May suggest acceptance/rejection in cases where not all requirements are met

- Analyzes and records issues, collaborating with other programmers to fix code problems

- Builds dictionaries for applications and systems support by the analyst, and ensures they are up to date

- Provides guidance for internal clients on applications, systems and/or processes for identifying and resolving, processing/reporting problems with programming. Consultation can include troubleshooting and/or education

- Assists in the developing communication content for specific system changes being implemented in production

- Analyzes user requests for systems changes or improvements. Documents functional requirements and assesses cost, feasibility and utility. Develops recommendation as to how, when or whether to proceed with making the changes

- Reviews methods of processing and recommends improvements

Requirements

- 3 years experience in systems / database / ERP administration.

- Experience with an ERP system required (Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc).

- Microsoft or Linux certifications desired.

- VMware experience

- Active Directory experience

- Proven knowledge of PowerShell Scripting

- Active Directory experience

- SQL experience desired

- Well-founded grasp of Power BI

- Linux System Administration experience preferred

- General familiarity with graphic information systems

- Comprehensive understanding of programming languages

- Knowledge of PC and mainframe hardware/software
