Additionally, Forecast Analyst typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Forecast Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Description
SAIC is seeking a Logistician to support the USMC at our Hanahan, SC location. This position is 100% on- site.
The Logistician will:
- Control the efficient flow of goods, services and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.
- May also plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production.
- Plan and manage material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production
- Ensure the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes. Logistics functions encompass maintenance, supply, transportation and logistics plans.
- Support program formulation, policy planning, coordination, inspection, integrated logistics processes, joint planning logistics, asset visibility, and material management.
- Perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; will work out of a central warehouse.
- Use computer system and CMPro for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting.
- Control the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.
- Provide additional CMPro support as required by the program .
- Support receiving, replacing, and retiring of HW inventory and components
- Apply processes in accordance with DoD.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience.
- Experience with CMPro required.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen
