Food and Beverage Controller - Casino jobs in Virginia Beach, VA

• Complete in-person and mobile orders by selecting food items from serving/storage areas, cooking food items, placing them on trays and serving beverages 
• Prepare kitchens and condiment stands with necessary items, equipment and products for the day. Restock throughout the day as needed.  
• Prepare food for sale at outlets and catered events using flat-top grills, fryers, steam tables, ovens, and additional equipment 
• Follow opening and closing procedures in assigned outlet to maintain cleanliness standards 
• Maintain a safe work area including handling utensils and equipment 
• Maintain a clean serving area by doing dishes, and organizing and removing spills and food scraps 
• Assist with catering events, including event setup, clean up and serving of food 
• Collect trash at various food outlets and dispose of at the garbage dumpsters 
• Follow food handling, sanitation guidelines, and storage regulations 
• Cross trained in multiple food and beverage outlets 
• Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner 
• Assist customers with questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark 
• Follow Park policies and procedures 
• Other duties as assigned 

• Must be at least 16 years of age 
• Ability to accept guidance and supervision 
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership 
• Be aware, attentive, and work well with others 
• Ability to work in indoor kitchen conditions and outdoor weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection 

• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time 
• Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to 100 pounds, team lift for heavier objects
