We're looking for a passionate Beverage Manager to join our team at a soon to open, friendly 21224 neighborhood bar - with a focus on high-quality beverages and unique takes on modern cocktails.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and assist with all aspects of the beverage program, including beer selection, cocktail menu development, and inventory control.
• Source and maintain relationships with craft breweries, distilleries, and distributors.
• Stay up-to-date on craft beer trends and develop a constantly evolving beer list that caters to diverse palates.
• Design and implement a creative cocktail program that utilizes fresh ingredients and showcases your bartending expertise.
• Train and mentor bartenders on proper service techniques, beverage knowledge, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Oversee all beverage ordering, receiving, and storage, ensuring proper stock levels and cost control.
• Compile and analyze beverage sales data to identify trends and optimize profitability.
• Manage beverage pricing strategies to maintain value for guests while ensuring business goals are met.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create pairings between food and beverages.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable liquor laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a bar or restaurant management role.
• Extensive knowledge of craft beer styles, breweries, and brewing techniques.
• Strong understanding of cocktail ingredients, mixology techniques, and flavor profiles.
• Proven ability to develop and implement creative beverage menus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong inventory control and cost-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software programs.
