The incumbent in this position is responsible for managing the food and beverage operation in accordance with the guidelines and policies set forth by the casino and health codes established by the government.
Establish department standards, guidelines and objectives and maintain other administrative process such as budget and staffing to ensure proper planning and efficient operation of outlets. Evaluate performance of beverage outlets by measuring guest satisfaction, volume, revenue, and cost in order to implement necessary changes to allow the most successful operation of services and fulfillment of company objectives. Hire, train, motivate and manages staff in order to ensure that employees receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish establish objectives. The incumbent must also be able to solve guest problems and make rational decisions.
Knowledge of gaming industry and strong public relations skills is required. Knowledge of and experience wit beverage operations in a multi-outlet or casino environment. Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent plus five (5) years experience in the restaurant service and beverage area in a supervisory role. Gaming experience preferred.
