Check pantry to ensure adequate supply of seasonings and food items. Report any inventory shortages to the Grill Supervisor. Prepare sauces, garnishes, and side dish items before they are needed. Prepare short order food items when they are ordered. Become familiar with preparing and pricing all menu items. Accept payment, make change, and operate point of sale system to record and track sales. Provide courteous, accurate, and efficient guest services. Follow all food safety ordinances and regulations. Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. Monitor equipment and report any maintenance concerns as needed. Breakdown workstation and restock items for next shift. Obtain and maintain food handler’s permit, and gaming license. Comply with tip reporting procedures and Title 31 requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requires problem solving skills, ability to communicate effectively, and, operate point of sale system. Position involves prolonged standing or walking, stooping or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds on a daily basis. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
