  • CORE Higher Education Group is looking to grow its Sales team by adding a Manager of Sales Development. This position leads a team of Sales Development Representatives responsible for outbound prospecting, inbound follow up, opening dialogue with personas, engaging in conversation to generate interest, and booking meetings on behalf of the Sales team. In addition to leading the SDR team, the Manager of Sales Development will work closely with Marketing to develop and execute playbooks for each campaign, the Account Executive team to monitor quality of leads, the Director of Revenue Operations and the VP of Sales.

    Duties & Responsibilities
    • Manage a team of 3-5 SDRs
    • Willingness to act as both a player & a coach managing both personal and team targets & KPIs
    • Focus personal outreach and opportunity development of key target accounts and larger opportunities
    • Develop SDR cadences and playbooks in conjunction with marketing
    • Ensure every SDR is executing daily on best practice playbooks and process to achieve conversion results.
    • Achieve and exceed monthly SDR qualified opportunity stage goals.
    • Review daily activity and productivity metrics dashboard.
    • Ensure the team is utilizing the SalesLoft platform correctly and to the fullest.
    • Create and review SDR lead and opportunity conversion reports.
    • Track the team’s progress towards weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals including call and email cadence, connect rates, meetings booked, pipeline generation and best practice lead conversion rates.
    • Implement an SDR training/enablement curriculum ensuring new hires are onboarded successfully and ongoing training needs are fulfilled for the existing team members.
    • Train the team through role play sessions and recorded call debriefing and coaching.
    • Hold weekly 1:1s to review productivity metrics.
    • Interact closely with Marketing Lead Generation and Ops, Sales leadership and Revenue Operations, to ensure SDR cross functional alignment.
    • Attend weekly demand Generation meetings to sync with Marketing on new campaigns and provide feedback on existing campaigns.
    • Inspire, motivate and lead the SDR team to maximize their potential and professional growth.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Minimum of 1 year of Sales Development/Business Development management experience at a SaaS company.
    • Minimum of 1 year of expertise with Salesforce, SalesLoft, and/or Hubspot.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with a primarily outbound SDR team.
    • Excellent proficiency using Excel.
    • Proven experience creating an effective process for onboarding, coaching, and professional development.
    • A track record of goal achievement as both an individual contributor and manager.
    • A genuine passion for helping to improve the well-being and safety of students and employees.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Minimum of 2 years Sales Development/Business Development management experience at a SaaS company.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience selling to higher education.
    • Previous experience managing a hiring process for Sales Development/Business Development Representatives
