- The University of Utah Campus Store is seeking a Starbucks Manager who will work directly under the Frontline Administrative Manager to manage the University Campus Store Starbucks location.Under the general direction of the Frontline Administrative Manager and Starbucks District Manager, this position is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all aspects of the Campus Store’s Starbucks location. This position is responsible for contributing to the success of the Campus Store and maintaining the Starbucks Experience for its customers. The store manager is required to exercise regular discretion in managing the overall operation of the department. A majority of time is spent supervising and directing the workforce, making staffing decisions, ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality, managing the department’s financial performance, and managing safety and security within the department. Under minimal supervision, this manager will also be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and/or controlling all aspects pertaining to food service functions of assigned department's internal and external customer service, human resource, and financial management operations pertaining to areas including (but not limited to) menu planning, training, certification/permit monitoring, ordering and inventory management, storage, promotion execution, and scheduling. Lastly, this position will be responsible for helping open/close the store, and punctuality will be a key to success.
