Baker-Katz Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a 55-bed facility located on the Groveland-line in Haverhill MA. At Baker-Katz, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care in the Skilled Nursing Profession. We provide skilled nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy.

The duties and responsibilities of a Director of Nursing include:
-Supervising all nursing staff
-Maintaining high standards of care for all patients
-Managing patients’ data and medical records as confidential records
-Communicating with doctors, patients and family members about patient health
-Recruiting, training and onboarding new nursing staff
-Providing ongoing education classes
-Implementing new procedures and training Nurses on policies.
-Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff and medical team.
-Conduct regular rounds to monitor delivery of nursing care, effective coordination with other support services, cleanliness and appearance of the residents, and morale of staff and to ensure residents’ needs are being met in a proactive manner.
- Carry out, coordinate, and manage administrative functions in areas or programs related to Nursing Services
- Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the organization
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training and professional development
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and Medicare guidelines
Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing leadership role
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and care plans
- Familiarity with Skilled Nursing care practices and DPH regulations
- Proven leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire a team
