Job Title: Experienced Server (Independent Contractor)

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced servers to join our team as independent contractors. The ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. As independent contractors, you will have the flexibility to work on a per-event basis while still enjoying the benefits of being part of our catering team.

Responsibilities:

• Event Setup: Assist in the setup and preparation of event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and table settings to ensure they meet our high standards of presentation.
• Tray Passing: Skillfully tray pass hors d'oeuvres and beverages to guests during cocktail hours and receptions, maintaining an elegant and professional demeanor at all times.
• Service: Provide attentive and personalized service to guests throughout the event, including taking orders, serving meals, refilling beverages, and attending to any special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Customer Interaction: Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations to ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow servers, bartenders, chefs, and event coordinators to coordinate service and ensure seamless execution of events.
• Clean-up: Assist with post-event clean-up duties, including clearing tables, packing up equipment, and ensuring that event spaces are left clean and orderly.

Qualifications:

• Previous Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a server in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or catering environment.
• Hospitality Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Professionalism: Impeccable grooming and presentation, along with a polished and friendly demeanor that reflects our company's commitment to excellence.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and carry trays and equipment, and work in a fast-paced environment with grace and efficiency.
• Team Player: A collaborative attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed to ensure the success of each event.
• Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by our event schedule.
