Food Server - Institution jobs in Kansas City, KS
Food Server - Institution is responsible for taking and delivering food and beverage orders to diners in an institutional setting. Ensures correct and prompt delivery of food. Being a Food Server - Institution may also be responsible for dish cleaning and sorting, garbage collecting as well as food preparation and light cooking. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Food Server - Institution typically reports to a supervisor. The Food Server - Institution possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and hard-working. Full & part-time positions available. We have lunch, and week end breakfast shifts. Great job for mom needing that extra money Must be 18 to serve liquor. Great for college students/ No experience necessary. We will train the right candidates.
Responsibilities:

*Take and serve food and beverage orders *Side work *Clean and stock tables and other items in the restaurant *Serve as a go between the customer and kitchen to provide the best experience *Complete checklists for open and close *Smile and be happy *Come ready and willing to work each day
Qualifications:

*Must be able to use Point of Sale *Handle cash & credit card transactions *Identify menu items and describe to customers accurately *Restaurant industry experience is preferred. *High School diploma or better is preferred.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $15.00 - $30.00/hour.
