FOODSERVER:
Primary Responsibilities: Must be able to smile, make guests smile, and provide a high level of enjoyment to guests. Acknowledges guests and escorts them to seats. Greets guests. Informs them of specials and soups. Retrieves high chair and booster seats. Takes food and beverage orders from customers. Records orders and closes out completed checks with POS system. Garnishes plates. Delivers food and beverages using tray. Ensures customer satisfaction. Suggestive sells desserts, etc. Sells alcoholic beverages (where applicable). Busses tables. Provides bill to guest and settles payment via cash or credit card transaction. Requests feedback from guests. Makes appropriate accommodations.
Secondary Responsibilities: Cleans and stocks workstations. Refills condiments. Assists with cleaning and resetting of tables. Portions salads. Uses cash register when necessary. Assists with Greeter duties on an as needed basis. Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements: Must be able to smile, make guests smile, and provide a high level of hospitality to guests. Acknowledges guests and escorts them to seats. Requires continuous standing and walking for extended periods of time. Must be able to frequently reach for, lift, and carry trays weighing up to 24 lbs. Must be able to bend and squat on occasion. Must be able to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation with both hands. Must have good verbal communication skills. Usually requires at least six months of previous food service experience and knowledge of dining room procedures. Must display a neat, clean, and attractive personal appearance. Must display a pleasant, outgoing, and energetic personality and project a positive attitude. Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
