The Food & Beverage Manager leads the Hancock Inn’s front of house dining team in providing a superior high-touch luxury experience to our guests and non-guest diners, at our 85-seat restaurant (with additional patio seating), attached to our boutique 15-room inn.
This role serves as the face of the restaurant and sets the tone for an outstanding guest treatment. The ideal Food & Beverage Manager has strong food and beverage experience, particularly in the field of fine dining, and is able to manage and direct the front of house restaurant team members to create customer delight in a fine dining setting.
The role is a hands-on role requiring visibility, presence, and ownership of the customer relationship.
The F&B Manager sets the professional tone for the F&B team, always acting with integrity, honesty and grace under pressure.
The role manages the hiring and performance management of the front of house dining staff (with support from HR), and assists with staffing for events being held on the property.
Direct reports of this role include all Front of House dining staff. Works closely with Food and Beverage Consultant and the Kitchen team to execute the vision of the restaurant.
