    Grand Summit Hotel at Attitash Mountain, under the new management of Hay Creek Hotels, is seeking a Food and Beverage Director to lead all front of house operations at this dynamic slope-side resort in Bartlett, New Hampshire.

    Job Summary:

    • Greet, direct, seat, and serve guests in accordance with company service standards. Ensure subordinate staff are trained and meeting company service standards.
    • Be thoroughly familiar with menu items, promotions offered, hotel offerings, and related materials.
    • Assist in resolving any guest concerns.
    • Reconciliation of cash, accurately charge credit cards, and make appropriate cash deposits at end of shift. Ensure all team members deposit appropriate cash payments nightly.
    • Oversee staff on duty to ensure a smooth and positive guest experience.
    • Lead hands-on training programs for all staff according to standard.
    • Responsible for comp and void privileges for F&B staff. Ensure accurate processing of transactions.
    • Leadership in staffing including interviewing, training, scheduling, and performance management.
    • Works to ensure inventory and pars are in line with standards.

    Required Experience:


    • 3 years recent Restaurant Management experience
    • High level of banquet/event understanding
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Must feel comfortable with technology such as Point of Sale system, Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel), and cloud based programs such as inventory management, shift communication, and document suites
    • Hotel environment experience not required, but a plus
    • Extensive beverage knowledge in Beer/Wine/Liquor to develop beverage lists and costing
    • Motivated by developing revenue-driving programs and incentives for guests. A creative thinker.
    • A prompt problem solver using positive thinking and critical resources
    • Able to furnish state alcohol service training.
    • Willing and able to work MOD floor shifts regularly including nights and weekends. Schedule must be flexible to the demands of the business needs.
    • Ability to work in a constructive, team working environment with a positive, upbeat and customer-focused attitude.
    • Ability to operate smoothly under pressure and stress while maintaining hospitality
    • May be subject to successful completion of background check and/or DMV check.
