Food & Beverage Director directs and oversees all aspects of the organization's food and beverage planning and service, with duties to include menu planning and costs, preparation and presentation of food and drinks, and adherence to quality and safety standards. Job Requirements
At least three years of progressive experience in food & beverage management in a resort or hotel is required and prior supervisory experience preferred. To be successful in this role, you must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally in English. You must be able to professionally handle difficult situations and the occasional rough customer. You will regularly use a computer and various software programs and must have certified alcohol and food training. Physical requirements include the ability to work long hours, Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Possess the ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms, work under variable temperatures and noise levels. Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range. Ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning.
